LEGAL

Booking Terms

Last updated: July 16, 2026

These Booking Terms describe the general conditions for private itinerary planning through Northwest Travel. They are a practical website draft and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before formal sale of travel packages in regulated markets.

Inquiry, proposal, and confirmation

Submitting a trip brief does not create a confirmed booking. It allows Northwest Travel to review your request and respond with questions, itinerary direction, availability checks, or a proposal. A trip is confirmed only after written confirmation, traveler acceptance, and any required deposit or payment.

Scope of service

We design private China itineraries for two or more travelers. Depending on the final proposal, services may include itinerary planning, hotel direction or booking support, private guides, private transfers, local transport arrangements, cultural experiences, and travel advice. Exact inclusions and exclusions will be listed in the confirmed proposal.

Prices and availability

Any itinerary, hotel, route, timing, or service shown on this website is for inspiration and planning direction only. Final prices depend on travel dates, room category, supplier availability, guide availability, transport schedules, seasonal demand, taxes, fees, and currency changes. Hotels shown are examples and are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.

Payment

Payment schedules, accepted payment methods, deposits, balance dates, and any bank or card fees will be provided with the confirmed proposal. Some hotels, trains, flights, guides, or experiences may require advance payment or non-refundable deposits.

Changes by travelers

Changes requested after confirmation may affect price, availability, routing, hotels, guides, transport, and timing. We will try to assist, but changes are subject to supplier rules and may result in additional fees.

Changes by suppliers

Hotels, guides, vehicles, transport operators, restaurants, venues, or experience providers may change schedules, rules, prices, or availability. If a confirmed component becomes unavailable, we will try to suggest a reasonable alternative. Equivalent replacement is not always guaranteed.

Traveler responsibilities

Travelers are responsible for valid passports, visas, entry requirements, health documentation, travel insurance, personal belongings, and suitability for planned activities. Travelers should tell us about mobility needs, dietary requirements, medical concerns, altitude sensitivity, and other important travel needs before confirmation.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical care, emergency evacuation, lost belongings, travel delays, and supplier failure where available.

Force majeure

Northwest Travel is not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, border changes, government actions, strikes, transport disruption, civil unrest, venue closure, or supplier failure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our responsibility is limited to the travel services we agree in writing to provide. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.
